Therapeutic Horseback Riding for 6 Pond Cove Students

Thanks to CEEF, six students from the Pond Cove Elementary Life Skills Program had the opportunity to participate in six therapeutic horseback riding lessons at Riding to the Top in Windham.

This program introduced students with special needs to a new experience in a supportive environment that reinforced and extended skills taught at school. Students benefitted from this program in the areas of communication, motor and sensory development, independence, and self-esteem. All the students and staff involved also had a lot of fun!
