World-class road race along Cape Elizabeth coast benefits CEEF

CAPE ELIZABETH'S PRIDE takes an annual climb each August as thousands of runners and visitors descend upon the town to run or cheer the Beach to Beacon road race. This year was no exception, as the 10th annual B2B filled the streets with the hordes of runners and their cheering sections. For some runners, achieving their personal goals also helped CEEF in its efforts to achieve its own.

More than twenty runners raised over $6,000 on behalf of CEEF in exchange for bib numbers to run this year's race. One of those runners was Cape Elizabeth native and recent graduate, Heather Furman. Heather will tackle new challenges this fall while attending Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We wish to thank Heather and the rest and congratulate them on a race well run.
